What we Are

The coffee house is a non-profit, volunteer-run establishment that operates out of a building owned by University Heights Baptist Church. One hundred percent of our profits are donated to local and international organizations that help create change in the world. Some of our recent donation recipients: Wings of Hope, Stillwater Life Services, OSU FCA, Mission of Hope and Our Daily Bread.

Our Start

We are a non-profit, volunteer-run coffee shop owned by University Heights Baptist Church in Stillwater, OK. Originally named The International Coffee House, UHBC purchased the building of the original Hideaway pizza with plans to create a transitional environment for international students. Naturally, coffee and other refreshments were served when the students gathered but, unfortunately, that setup was closed down for a few years.

In 2008 we opened as a non-profit, renamed the coffee house, where people could come read, hangout, study and, of course, drink coffee or other specialty drinks made in-house. Volunteers have worked faithfully to make the coffee house a welcoming and loving space where we donate 100% of our profits to other non-profit organizations serving the Stillwater community. Periodically, we donate to worthy international non-profit organizations too.

Our Mission

We have three passions at the coffee house — Jesus, hospitality and coffee. From the very beginning, the goal was to provide a fun and positive environment for students to study. Helping other non-profit organizations was just an easy extension of this goal. Our mission is to genuinely care about people and our community the way Jesus taught us to do. We are…

Making a difference, one cup at a time.
